Biology 102:  Human Biology

General biology focusing on how it relates to humans.  Topics include cell biology, genetics, DNA science, anatomy, physiology, human evolution, human population issues and human impact on the environment.  Intended to fulfill the general education requirement for life science without a lab for nonmajors.

Biology 210:  Human Anatomy and Physiology

One semester course covering both human anatomy and human physiology.  Topics include discussions on how structure depicts function, body homeostasis, and the anatomical and physiological functioning of all major organ systems.  Intended for students entering the allied health professions.

Biology 241:  Human Physiology

One semester course covering a detailed discussion of the human physiology of all major organ systems.  Emphasis lies on homeostasis, the interaction between organ systems, and organ system functioning at the cellular level. Intended for biology majors and students entering allied health professions.
