Course description
The course presents an introduction to the laboratory techniques of molecular
biology. Exercises will include procedures associated with the purification of
genomic DNA, cell transformation, plasmid purification, and endonuclease restriction
experiments. Students will learn the use of micropipets, agarose gel electrophorese,
PCR, and biological resources on the World Wide Web.
